Citizens Need to Have a Voice in Selecting Next City Manager.
Open Letter Submitted to Glendale City Council Members.
Dear Glendale City Council Member,
With the departure of City Manager Ochoa, it is likely that you will be advertising/soliciting for some one to fill the vacant position.
To add transparency and legitimacy to the process and to assist you with making your choice, we feel it would be in the best interest of the City to have some concerned Glendale Citizens involved in the process.
We feel the Glendale Coalition for Better Government would be an excellent source for you. Of all the civic groups in Glendale, we feel we are one of the best qualified and we know the problems and needs of the City from a Citizen’s point of view. Government always seems to work best when Citizens of the community are allowed to participate.
We are offering our time and personnel to assist you in any way we can.
It would be our honor to serve the City and the Citizens in helping to choose a qualified and dedicated City Manager. At a minimum, we would be willing to serve in an advisory capacity to you.
We look forward to working with you,
Frank Gallo
